VP Sales & Marketing (London), Circa 90K (Industry leading Premium and Promotion Marketing Agency?s - Entertainment Industry)
Our client is an Industry leading premium and promotion marketing agency?s and the UK office is now looking to appoint a VP to head and lead it?s UK sales & marketing unit . Must have 10+ years combined promotion agency and brand marketing experience. As head of UK office, responsible to lead, generate and drive business opportunities for rapid growth for the region.
Successful candidate will have a strong understanding in both custom premium and merchandise promotion industry, as well as experience in entertainment licensing, will be responsible for identifying potential clients and strategic partners, developing overall strategies, concept, presentations and proposals for current clients and new business pitches.
The right candidate will be a great relationship builder with an entrepreneurial mindset, an effective communicator with a great passion for premiums and promotions. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and multi-national environment.
Skills needed include:
· Manage P&L and operation unit to meet company?s financial and growth objectives · Develop promotional, brand oriented, kids, teens and adult focused premium and merchandising programs for both national and global clients · Ability to develop strategic integrated promotional programs tie-in with entertainment and new media · Experienced with the retail environment in creating in-store marketing and account specific programs · Working knowledge in product development and manufacturing · Experienced in managing clients verticals in the QSR, CPG, Beverage, Tobacco, Automobile, Health*Personal Care, Retail and Hospitality and Airline Services etc. · Team-building, recruit, lead, manage and coach staffs to achieve company target goals
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Key responsibilities include manage the business unit?s sales efforts, actively identify, pursue and win business from existing and new accounts. Primary goal is to help company realize rapid and sustainable revenue growth for the region. With existing clients, identify strategic alliance with 3rd party partners, develop innovative and effective promotional programs to drive sales, and new program initiatives. For new business, develop aggressive growth strategies and action plan for the region, leveraging parent company?s global network. Work independently and in tandem with promotional team to develop promotional premium and merchandise strategies with targeted verticals. Proactively seek to improve client service and program effectiveness, implement Best Practice to achieve operation and organizational efficiency.
